Summer isn’t quite over yet and September can still offer you great beach days. So, we want to share with you some nice beaches to discover in Algarve, some that are known and renowned all over the world and others that are still left to explore.
One of the most emblematic beaches in Portugal, one of those that appears in almost every postcard from the Algarve. This is a landscape that you probably have seen before, but its beauty really needs to be seen live.
The entire region around the Ria Formosa is a unique indescribable wonder, especially when you take the boat to cross to one of its stunning islands. The warm and clear waters immediately make you want to dive and enjoy. Tips: Farol island, Cacela Velha and Fuzeta.
The Garrão beach serves some of the main resorts in the Vale do Lobo area, making it an exclusive gold-sanded and pine-forested paradise in the Algarve, separated by two stunning freshwater lagoons.
The picturesque port town of Nossa Sra. da Rocha is still pretty unknown in the Algarve, which makes it even more appealing. This traditional promontory painted in white with the little chapel up on the hill unveils the cutest beach underneath, where you can rent a boat to go and explore further or enjoy a beach day in this quiet beach.
The beautiful Benagil caves, once a secret well-kept, are now crowded with people from all over the country – and the world. Still, it is worth visiting this open-air cave, which you can only access by boat, at least once in your life.
